Carlsberg Visitor Centre is temporarily closed due to a major renovation and modernisation as a consequence of many years of wear and tear as well as Carlsberg Groups ambition to offer a more contemporary attraction.
The Old Carlsberg area is such a central part of our legacy and history that we owe it to our ancestors to maintain the heritage site and improve the experience for our guests. Our vision is to turn Carlsbergs home into an inspiring and innovative place, where we can welcome guests and business partners.

Carlsberg Brand Store will be open Tuesday to Friday between 10:00 and 15:00. Here you can find a wide selection of Carlsberg merchandise and beverages.

Visit Carlsberg is located in Valby in Copenhagen at the location of the first Carlsberg Brewery. The visitor centre will give you an idea of how the world-famous Carlsberg Beer is made.
Visit a legendary landmark, where you can use your senses. See beautiful architecture, taste world-famous Danish beer in many styles, marvel at the world’s largest bottle collection of unopened bottles and get a feeling of what Carlsberg is all about. Stop by the new and large Carlsberg official Brand Store, where you can bring home a wide variety of beers, posters and t-shirts. Enjoy the view of our on-site craft brewery with the shiny copper kettles, while eating lunch at Jacobsen Brewhouse & Bar.
Activities
Visit Carlsberg offers guided tours and beer tastings, where you can expand your knowledge of Carlsberg's fascinating history and beer.
Guided tours in English at 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00. DKK 60 per person.
Beer tastings at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00. DKK 80 per person. Only sold with entrance ticket.
The price per activity is in addition to the entrance ticket.
Buy your tickets at Visit Carlsberg Entrance & Ticket Centre or online. One Carlsberg Pilsner or soft drink is included in your ticket. Free entry with Copenhagen Card.
Tip: Allow approx. 1½-2 hours for a complete tour.

How to get there
You can take a train from Copenhagen Central Station (B, C & H) directly to Carlsberg Station + a short walk up the hill. Or hop on the free Visit Carlsberg shuttle bus on Vesterbrogade 6, Tuesday - Sunday at 12:00, 13:00 and 14:00.
